Ukraine has condemned the terrorist attack that took place in the Bulgarian city of Burgas on July 18, the Information Policy Department of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.

“Ukraine strongly condemns the barbaric terrorist attack that took
place in the Bulgarian city of Burgas on July 18, which was directed
against Israeli tourists. We express our deepest condolences to the
families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to all of those
injured,” reads the Foreign Ministry’s statement.

Ukraine believes that there can be no justification to any acts of
terrorism and that under no circumstances can they be a means to achieve
political or other ends, the Foreign Ministry stressed.

As reported, a suicide bomber blew up a bus expecting Israeli
tourists at a parking lot at Burgas Airport on Wednesday evening. The
Israeli Foreign Ministry said that eight people were killed in the
attack, including six citizens of Israel. Local media say that the other
two victims were citizens of Bulgaria. According to recent reports, 32
people were injured.
