The trilateral Contact Group for Ukraine may decide at its meeting in the Belarusian capital Minsk on Tuesday to reschedule the dates for holding the local elections in the self-proclaimed Donetsk (DPR) and Luhansk (LPR) People's Republics if Kyiv simultaneously fulfils a number of conditions, a source in the political sub-group told Interfax.

“The issue of rescheduling the elections in the DPR and LPR will be key at the subgroup’s meeting. Based on the results of its work, the Contact Group may adopt a decision to reschedule the elections to other dates. However, the idea of Kyiv and Donbas necessarily holding the elections on the same day is out of the question here,” the source said.
