You're reading: Ukraine, Czech Republic agree on joint manufacturing of aviation and military vehicles

The Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) and the Defense Ministry of the Czech Republic have agreed to work on joint projects manufacturing aircraft and military vehicles.

According to the NSDC website, the First Deputy Defense Council Secretary Oleh Hladkivsky and a Czech delegation led by the Czech Deputy Defense Minister Daniel Koshtoval agreed to cooperate in joint projects on aircraft and military vehicles.

The parties also expressed their interest in increasing military and technical cooperation between the two countries. The significant defense industry potential of both countries was discussed, and the possibility of cooperation in aircraft engineering and land based military equipment.

The Ukrainian side underlined the importance of the visa-free regime between Ukraine and EU that must be implemented as soon as possible to improve cooperation between the two countries in science, education and the economy.

The meeting was organized within the framework of the Ukrainian-Czech forum on defense cooperation.
