Moscow - Ukraine denied entry to five passengers of two Russian airlines last weekend. A representative of Aeroflot - Russian Airlines told Interfax four passengers of the airline were barred from Ukraine last weekend. In all, 38 Aeroflot passengers have been denied entry to Ukraine since last Thursday when Ukraine imposed the border crossing restrictions, he said.

 A source in airline S7, which flies to Kyiv and Odesa, told Interfax that one S7 passenger failed to enter Ukraine last weekend. The passenger was flying from to Moscow to Odesa, the airline said. Altogether seven S7 passengers have been denied entry in Odesa and none in Kyiv.

Transaero said that none of its passengers was barred from Ukraine last weekend. Earlier the airline reported Ukraine’s rejection of 55 passengers.

Ukraine limited the access of male Russian citizens aged from 16 to 60 last Thursday. Restrictions were also imposed on male Ukrainians aged from 16 to 60 and female Ukrainian citizens aged from 20 to 35 who live in Crimea and Sevastopol.

Russian airlines said on April 18 that the Ukrainian Border Service would minimize the restrictions for the Easter period.
