Ukraine wants to develop cooperation with Dutch companies in the field of shipbuilding, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov's press secretary, Vitaliy Lukianenko, has said.

During the Ukrainian premier’s visit to The Hague (the Netherlands), the sides reached an agreement on the establishment of a bilateral working group on shipbuilding.

“Damen Shipyards Group offers an interesting scheme for the construction of ships for Ukrainian customers at Ukrainian shipyards,” Lukianenko told reporters after Azarov’s meeting with the leadership of this company in The Hague.

The Ukrainian prime minister is on a two-day working visit to the Netherlands.
