A meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Committee will be held in November and the EU-Ukraine Association Council will meet in December 2015, Deputy Minister of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers Natalia Hnydiuk has told journalists.
“In November and December there will be sittings of the [EU-Ukraine] Association Committee and Association Council respectively. During these two sittings we’ll cover what we managed to achieve for the year of implementation of the Association Agreement and how far Ukraine is ready for approaching to the Free Trade Area (FTA),” she said.
According to Hnydiuk, Ukraine is ahead of schedule in its implementation of the national plan on the EU Association Agreement.
The Ukrainian parliament has already passed eleven laws, and six other bills have already been submitted.
Hnydiuk said that 11 bills which are required to fulfill the association plan are being elaborated on by central executive agencies.
