Ukraine's State Border Service reports that the Ukrainian side hasn't started border and customs clearance of Russia's Ukraine-bound humanitarian aid at the Russian-based Donetsk border checkpoint.

“The border and customs registration of the current cargo by the Ukrainian side hasn’t started yet,” the border agency’s press service told Interfax-Ukraine on Aug. 20 evening.

The information about the start of the procedure will be announced immediately, the source said.

Ukrainian border guards and customs officers are now at the Donetsk border checkpoint pending the border and customs clearance of the Russian humanitarian cargo, according to information available to Interfax-Ukraine.
