Ukraine imported 2.471 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Russia in January 2014, the State Statistics Service said.
The cost of this imported gas was $663.438 million, or $268.5 per thousand cubic meters.
Compared with January 2013, Ukraine imported 0.9%, or 23.389 million
cubic meters, less gas. In monetary terms, this is a decline of 34.9%,
or $354.913 million.
Aside from 2.448 billion cubic meters of Russian gas, Ukraine also
imported 46.715 million cubic meters of natural gas from Germany in
January 2013.
