Ukraine this year is increasing its exports potential to the markets of third countries, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Trade Representative of Ukraine Valeriy Piatnytsky has said.

“Our access to third markets is growing, as the Ukrainian business, acquiring some experience, begins to look for the opportunities that are both on the European markets and the markets of third countries. It should be mentioned that very often these are quite exotic markets,” he said at a press briefing.

According to the trade representative, the new markets include such countries as Libya, Sudan, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Kuwait, Mali, South Sudan, Thailand, Somalia, Mozambique, Mauritius, Taiwan, Mongolia, Indonesia, New Caledonia, and others.

The ministry also noted increases in exports to the following countries: Iraq, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Lebanon.
