Three of the four members of the Normandy Quartet - Ukraine, France and Germany – believe that Russia should give up the idea of conducting the pseudo-elections in certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Kostiantyn Yeliseyev.

“For us, the issue of the abolition by the Russian side of fake elections in Donbass on October 18 and November 1 is extremely important. Ukraine, Germany and France are united in this issue,” Yeliseyev said at a briefing in Kyiv on Oct. 1.
