Ukraine and Lithuania concluded a number of agreements during Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite's visit to Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko and his Lithuanian counterpart Grybauskaite signed a joint statement on the results of the latter’s visit.

Following Ukrainian-Lithuanian talks in Kyiv on Thursday, an agreement between the two countries’ cabinets on the mutual recognition of university qualifications was signed.

In addition, the two governments signed an agreement about the size of consular fees and a plan of consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Ukraine and Lithuania in 2010-2011.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania also signed an agreement about cooperation in preserving cultural heritage.
