November 21, Ukrainians mark the Day of Dignity and Freedom.
The holiday was established by the President’s Decree No. 872 of November 13, 2014 "with a view to assert the ideals of freedom and democracy in Ukraine, to preserve and convey the objective information about the landmark events in Ukraine at the beginning of the XXI century to contemporary and future generations, as well as to honor the patriotism and courage of the citizens who have defended the democratic values, the human rights and freedoms, the national interests of our state and its European choice ..."
