Ukraine's military men have accused eastern Ukrainian militants of eight breaches of the ceasefire between 8 p.m. on March 27 and 6 a.m. on March 28.

Between 9:30 p.m. and 9:40 p.m., the town of Novotoshkivske in Luhansk region was under a hail of rockets fired by Grad multiple launchers positioned in the area of Stakhanov. Forty rockets targeted a Ukrainian army checkpoint and another 20 hit residential areas in the village, the press center for the military operation in the east said in a statement.

At 11:50 p.m., 120-millimeter mortars attacked the town of Avdiyivka while the village of Leninske not far from Artemivsk came under small-arms fire on two occasions, the center said.

Between 8 p.m. and midnight, militants opened fire on Ukrainian positions on five occasions, using various kinds of weapons, and there were another three violations of the truce between midnight and 6 a.m., the statement said.
