Ukraine plans next week to sign a contract on reverse gas supplies via Slovakia in 2014, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytsky told reporters in Beijing.

“We haven’t signed it yet. We plan to when we get back, next week,” Stavytsky said.

Earlier Stavytsky said Ukraine had received a draft agreement that
will allow gas supplies to come from Europe to Ukraine via Slovakia from
Slovakia’s Eustream. He said the document might be signed in the near
future.
