You're reading: Ukraine raises electricity price for Crimea by 14.4 percent from July

Ukraine has increased the price of electricity for occupied Crimea by 14.4 percent, Ukraine's Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Volodymyr Demchyshyn has told reporters.

“We’ve raised the price [for Crimea] substantially from July 1, to RUR 3.42 per kWh. Previously, it was RUR 2.99 per kWh,” he said in Kyiv.
