Hummm.... let's see, Ukraine's has failed to improve it's business climate. Yanucovich pledges to fight corruption and create an attractive business climate have regrettably produced no such results. The signing of a free trade deal between the EU and Ukraine had been "undermined" by the use of selective justice for political purposes. Ukraine ranked 152nd out of 183 economies included in the World Bank survey Doing Business 2012. All very true!!!
But Ukraine's Foreign Minister doesn't like it when the truth is told or publicly spoken it would seem?
"Ukraine's foreign ministry was quick to respond, saying it was "surprised" by Teixeira's comments which it described as out of line with what is appropriate for diplomats, Interfax news agency reported".
Amazing.... utterly amazing. Well if the truth hurts then I would highly suggest Mr. Foreign Minister that you have a very convincing conversation with your boss "The President" about the time now for positive change and turning this negative reality into positive results that speak highly of good leadership and for the Ukrainian people. How about that as an alternative rather than whining and crying over the truth?
Typical reaction of Ukrainian Government...but they forget, that this open and correct communication, even if the truth hurts, is a cornorstone of the modern, western society...
And this is of course exactly the opposite as what Ukrainian politicians are used to do...better put your head in the sand for the truth...
The messages towards the Ukrainian "Top", will not get more softer...only harder every time...
Maybe ending up like Belarus today ?
Is that really what they want to achieve ?
An isolation ?
I guess only time can heal this nation...cause stubborn blind mentality is very hard to cure with common sense !
