Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg have signed an agreement on opening a NATO office in Ukraine.

The document was signed after a National Security and Defense Council meeting on Sept. 22.

During the ceremony, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the status of NATO authority in Ukraine has significantly increased.

“This is a public, a very bright demonstration of those attention and change of attitude of NATO to Ukraine,” he said.
