Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko wants to start introducing a public healthcare system based on health insurance in the spring of 2010.
"There is a need to reform the whole system of healthcare, and starting from spring next year, I believe, we will begin the fundamental reform of this system, basing it on medical insurance," Tymoshenko said at a meeting with the representatives of the World Health Organization in Kyiv on Nov. 24.
