The May 25 presidential elections in Ukraine will be monitored by some 3,000 international monitors, Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Danylo Lubkivsky said.

“A total of 2,784 people have come to Ukraine to monitor the elections
in our country. They are representatives of 19 countries and many
international organizations. Our task is to hold these elections. It’s
not just a duty, it’s a way to defend our homeland,” Lubkivsky said on
Channel 5 television on May 22.
