You're reading: Ukraine’s parliament adopts law on providing disabled veterans with cars

Ukraine's lawmakers have amended the law on the status, guarantees to, and the social protection of veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 (the Second World War).

A total of 301 out of 379 MPs registered in the hall supported the law.

According to the amendments, disabled veterans who participated in the battles of the Great Patriotic War and the War against Japan will be provided with cars for free.
