Ukraine's three former presidents, Leonid Kravchuk, Leonid Kuchma and Viktor Yuschenko, have met with members of the December 1 action group to discuss possible ways out of the political crisis and measures to launch a dialogue between the authorities and the people, according to a report posted on the website of Kuchma's Ukraine presidential foundation on Thursday.

It was the ex-presidents’ second meeting with representatives of the
intelligentsia, priests and people of the arts, who were invited to this
dialogue with the former presidents, it said.

December 1 action group members seek to involve representatives and
supporters of different political forces in these discussions.

Kuchma supported their initiative, which he believes should help
secure civil peace and formulate options for Ukraine’s further
development.
