The State Veterinary and Biosecurity Service of Ukraine has banned the import of products made by Sadia S.A. company (Brazil) and OJSC Bellakt (Belarus).
According to the Veterinary and Biosecurity Service, the decision was made due to these companies' products falling short of quality and safety requirements in Ukraine.
In particular, the laboratory tests showed that the frozen pork produced by Sadia S.A. contained Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. Mold was found in dry infant milk mix Bellakt Bifido 2 produced by Bellakt.
