Ukrainian army positions were shelled in every area of Donbas since 6 p.m. on Tuesday by use of mortars, grenade launchers, artillery guns, tanks and small arms, the army operation press center wrote on Facebook on Wednesday morning.
According to the report, Pisky came under a mortar attack and Mariyinka was attacked by machineguns and small arms in the Donetsk sector.
Anti-tank guided missile launchers, mortars, grenade launchers and small arms were used against Kirove, Leninske, Zolote, Bohuslavske and Lozove in the Artemivsk sector, and self-propelled artillery weapons kept firing on Popasna for almost an hour.
“A clash occurred in the area of Leninske and Nelipivka at around midnight,” the report said.
Schastia was attacked by a tank, grenade launchers and mortars in the Luhansk area. Gunfire on Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske and Sokilnyky was ongoing, and the militants were also using armored personnel carriers, air defense launchers and small arms in addition to the weapons mentioned above.
The militants used self-propelled artillery guns, grenade launchers and mortars against Shyrokyne and small arms against Pavlopil in the Mariupol sector. It was quiet in the Mariupol area after midnight.
Drones were seen flying near Mariupol and on the routes between Donetsk and Krymske, Triokhizbenka and Stary Aidar and Schastia, the report said.
