The Ukrainian military forces and border guards have carried out a military operation and restored control of a 100-km-long stretch of the state border with Russia, the Ukrainian president's press service reported on June 12.
“The military forces report that as a result of a well-prepared operation, the Ukrainian military forces and border guards regained control over a 100-km-long stretch of the state border, even amid fighting with tanks,” the press service said.
