The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has passed a resolution to hold an auction to sell 1,500 cars owned by the country's ministries and government departments.

The resolution only applies to the central authorities, Ukraine’s
Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak told government on Wednesday. The
vehicles used by police and firefighters will not be sold.

“Only 1,500 cars of the central authorities will be appraised and
sold off under public control. The proceeds will go to the budget,” he
said.
