The State Border Service of Ukraine has reported that Ukrainian border guards and customs officers did not clear Russian humanitarian aid as of 07:00 on Aug. 21.
“No truck was cleared as of 07:00,” the State Border Service’s press office told Interfax-Ukraine.
The service did not provide other comments on this issue.
However, the agency learned that a convoy of humanitarian aid from Russia planned to leave the Ukrainian Izvaryne border crossing point in the direction of Luhansk at about 07:00-08:00 on Aug. 21 under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross. A column with Ukrainian humanitarian aid was expected to leave Severodonetsk for Luhansk at approximately the same time.
There is no official confirmation that the Russian humanitarian aid convoy entered Ukraine.
