Ukrainian border guards have discovered two Mi-8 helicopters along the administrative border of Kherson region with the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on its website.

“The border unit revealed a drone and two Mi-8 helicopters on the administrative border between Kherson region and the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” the report said.

According to the report, border units and subdivisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine registered four drones flying within the borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, which are used by illegal armed formations to carry out aerial reconnaissance of Ukrainian military units.

The service went on to say that its efforts to prevent the illegal movement of goods and cargo along the contact line continue.
