Ukraine's State Border Guard Service has spoken out in favor of extending the European Wall project on the Russian border to a part of the border along Transdniestria.
“In accordance with your order, a draft decree on the extension of the plan on the central or Transdniestrian part of Ukrainian-Moldovan border. The plan of top-priority actions to work on the sea part [of the border] was prepared as well,” First Deputy Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Vasyl Servatiuk has said at the meeting of the Cabinet in Kyiv on Aug. 19.
