The Ukrainian Cabinet of ministers has endorsed a draft protocol of the 6th session of the Ukrainian-Russian interstate commission drawn up by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

The protocol is a key document to be authorized by Ukrainian
President Viktor Yanukovych and Russian President Vladimir Putin at the
6th session of the Ukrainian-Russian interstate commission scheduled for
December 17, 2013 in Moscow, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a
statement on Thursday.

In particular, the document formalizes the political condition of
modern Ukrainian-Russian relations, contains a number of economic and
humanitarian provisions, and reflects the outcomes of the interstate
commission’s session, including a list of documents to be signed
following the meeting.

The Ukrainian Cabinet instructed the relevant executive bodies to
finalize the draft protocol and submit their proposals on the matter to
the Foreign Ministry within one day so that it is ready to be agreed
upon with Russia, it said.
