You're reading: Ukrainian Embassy in Tunisia reminds there is a visa regime between two countries

The Ukrainian Embassy in Tunisia notes that there is a visa regime in effect between two states, as the number of cases in which Ukrainians are denied entry to Tunisia for not having visas has increased.

According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, an entry visa can be obtained in the embassy of Tunisia in the Russian Federation (with concurrent accreditation to Ukraine).

In addition, the document package for obtaining the visa can be handed in at the Tunisian embassy in Moscow or through Tunisian honorary consulate in Ukraine.

The document also notes that Enfidha-Hammamet, Monastir Habib Bourguiba, Djerba Zarzis, Tabarka–Ain Draham and Tozeur–Nefta international airports can admit charters and fill out documents for obtaining Tunisian visas on site. It’s also possible to receive a stamp in the passport that allows entry to Tunisia.

When trying to enter Tunisia without a visa through Tunis Carthage International Airport, the border police might deny entry to Ukrainian citizens and put them on a flight back home.
