You're reading: Ukrainian Foreign Ministry denies warning foreign embassies about possible state of emergency introduction

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said it denied mass media reports regarding its warning of foreign embassies about the possible introduction of a state of emergency in the country.

“This is not true. We have not informed embassies of such a thing –
the information is incorrect,” Ukrainian Foreign Ministry information
policy department director, Yevhen Perebyinis, told Interfax-Ukraine.

A number of embassies, asked by Interfax-Ukraine to comment on the
relevant mass media reports, have not confirmed receiving such a
warning.
