Ukraine's government has bought large amounts of modern weapons for the country's armed forces, the defense minister said on Oct. 5.
‘We must re-equip our armed forces as soon as possible. We have already bought a lot of precision weapons, some of which we haven’t had before – automated control systems, communications systems and much else that we’ve been short of in the past,’ Valeriy Heletei told reporters during a tour of arms manufacturers in Zaporizhia.
