The Ukrainian government on May 20 will make a decision on the termination of the agreement on military-technical cooperation with Russia, which was signed on May 26, 1993, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said.

The Cabinet is making a decision to terminate the agreement on military-technical cooperation with Russia,” Yatseniuk told the government on May 20.

“The aggressor state illegally occupied Crimea, perpetrated military aggression to the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and poses a security threat to territorial integrity. Therefore, the agreement is severed by the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers,” Yatsenyuk said.
