You're reading: Ukrainian government’s 20 trucks with humanitarian aid arrive in Donetsk Oblast

DONETSK - A total of 20 trucks with humanitarian aid from the Ukrainian government have arrived in Donetsk region, the press service of Donetsk Regional State Administration reported on Dec. 25.

The items weighing over 260 tonnes and worth about Hr 2 million, which include foodstuff, Christmas gifts for children and even 500 Christmas trees, which were provided by residents of Poltava region, will be unloaded into warehouses of Kramatorsk and Severodonetsk, the press service said.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Hennadiy Zubkov, humanitarian aid is intended for patients of social institutions (orphanages, psychological clinics, nursing homes, etc.), as well as for socially disadvantaged groups.
