Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that the Ukrainian government will only communicate with the legally elected representatives of Donetsk and Luhansk.

“My government will never communicate with terrorists, we will talk only with legally elected representatives of Donetsk and Luhansk. This is our common goal, our common task. We want to hold free and transparent elections there,” Yatseniuk said at the 8th Kyiv Security Forum on May 28.

He reiterated that the government will not negotiate with terrorists.

“We are ready to talk with terrorists only when they are in prison. We have enough prison cells for them,” he said.
