Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said there is no reason for a devaluation of the national currency.

“Various ‘oracles’ started predicting the fall of the hryvnia before I took office. At present, there is no reason for the devaluation of the hryvnia,” he said in an interview with the BBC’s Ukrainian Service.

According to the prime minister, despite the fact that Ukraine is not receiving loans from the International Monetary Fund, the country managed to place eurobonds worth $2 billion.
