Donbas militants violated the ceasefire in the special-operation zone 54 times on Aug. 27, the press center for the Ukrainian military operation said.

The enemy actively used the weapons that were supposed to have been removed from the dividing line, with Ukrainian positions having come under artillery and grenade attacks 11 and 16 times respectively, the press center said on its Facebook page.

Ukrainian military positions in the village of Starohnativka were shelled with 122mm artillery three times, the press center said. Ukrainian positions in Bohdanivka were attacked with 152mm artillery. Militants also shelled Avdiyivka, the village of Chermalyk and the village of Mykolaivka in the Volnovakha district.

Also, mortars were fired against the village of Syze in the Luhansk Region, the press center said.
