You're reading: Ukrainian-Russian consultations on Russia’s Black Sea Navy take place in Moscow

Ukrainian and Russian diplomats are to tackle the problems of the activities of Russia's Black Sea Fleet in Crimea, according to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

"On April 18 this year, a working visit by First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Ruslan Demchenko to Moscow will be held to hold political consultations at the level of foreign ministries with Russian Secretary of State and Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin, negotiations with First Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Andrey Denisov, and a meeting of the co-chairmen of the sub-commission on the activities of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and its location on the territory of Ukraine," the spokesman for the Interior Ministry of Ukraine, Oleksandr Dykusarov, has said during a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.

"In addition, it is planned to determine possible terms of readiness for signing agreements that are being developed," Dykusarov said.
