Ukrainian servicemen have destroyed two tanks and killed ten militants in the area of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, the ATO press center has reported.
‘Ten militants have been killed and two tanks have been destroyed in the past 24 hours. A sniper of militants who fired at Ukrainian units near the village of Novolaspa has been killed with return fire,’ the press center reported on its Facebook page.
‘In order to discredit the ATO forces militants again shelled Donetsk. Grad rockets were launched from the area of the settlement of Korsun, near Yenakiyeve. From Zhdanivka rockets were flying in the southern direction,’ the report says.
At the same time, the situation in the area of Mariupol is stable.
‘A system of defense of the seaside town has been created with the help of a network of roadblocks, strongholds and observation posts. At the same time, the activity of subversive and reconnaissance groups and the flights of unmanned aerial vehicles were recorded in the area,’ reads the report.
