Ukrainians and Russians can cross the Ukrainian-Russian border, using their internal passports, Andriy Sybiha, Director of the Consular Service Department at the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, said.

“To date, and there has been a government resolution to that effect, the procedure regulated by international agreements remains in place,” Sybiha said.

He noted that it was Russia that in 2013 proposed switching to foreign travel passports and initiated the talks on this matter.
