Businesses and individuals within the "Support the Ukrainian Army" program as of July 28 had transferred Hr 138.851 million to the accounts of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, according to the official website of the ministry.
According to the defense ministry, Hr 129.796 million of the amount
were remittances for material and technical provision, the rest – for
medical support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, Hr 33.765 million was transferred in support of the
Ukrainian army via calls to single mobile number 565. The funds were
spent on the material and technical provision of the Armed Forces of
Ukraine.
“In addition, $121,500, 58,000 euros, 5,000 Czech crowns, CA$ 450, and 140 Swiss francs came
to the accounts of the Ministry of Defense. The total sales of foreign
currency in the hryvnia equivalent amounted to Hr 2.3 million. After
the sale of foreign currency, the fund balance on the Defense Ministry’s
accounts amounted to $1,500, 500 euros and CA$ 100,” reads the report.
