Ukroboronprom state concern has presented 10 BTR-70 armored vehicles to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

“Having received the order from Ukrainian Defense Ministry, the
state-owned Mykolaiv armored vehicles plant, which is a part of the
concern, not only repaired the vehicles but also modernized them by
installing additional counter-heat effects protection. Today, border
guards have received ten armored vehicles, and the same number [of
armored vehicles] is to be released in the nearest future,” reads the
statement.

Lieutenant colonel of Kherson border guard regiment Anatoliy Sokirko,
who received the vehicles, said that Ukrainian border guard’s
mechanics, drivers and operators had been training for two weeks at the
Mykolaiv plant. Ten teams have already been formed and sent to protect
the border.
