Poland resumed shipping gas to Ukraine at 1730 Kyiv time on Oct. 2 following routine repair work that was agreed upon by the two countries' gas transport operators, Ukraine's Ukrtransgaz told Interfax-Ukraine.

“Thanks to this work, it was possible to improve the conditions for sending gas from Poland to Ukraine and better the existing gas measurement system,” the central dispatching department of Ukrtransgaz said.

It was previously reported that this repair work would last for eight hours, and gas shipments will be restored immediately after. These repairs were agreed upon with Ukrtransgaz.
