The State Railway Administration of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia) has created a commission for the prevention of infringements and corruption on railway transport.

The press service of Ukrzaliznytsia told Interfax-Ukraine that Deputy Director General of Ukrzaliznytsia Vitaliy Zhurakovsky was appointed chairman of the commission and head of the department for prevention of infringements and corruption at railway transport at Ukrzaliznytsia Vitaliy Andreyev and head of the department for prevention of infringements Andriy Sokolovsky were appointed deputy heads of the commission head.

Members of the commission are head of the department of militarized guard of the administration Vadym Yaremenko, head of the transportation safety department Volodymyr Krot, head of the internal control department Ihor Romankov, head of the commercial work department Yuriy Merkulov, head of the human resources department Iryna Mykhalchenko, head of the labor protection and organization department Nadia Sokolovska, head of the law department Oleh Titov and head of the information safety department Yevhen Serebriany.

The commission will control the observation of Ukrainian law and coordinate cooperation with the state power, law-enforcement and supervision agencies.

The operation of the commission will promote the revealing, studying and removing the reasons that assist criminal actions and cause social tension in the employees of enterprises.

The commission also has the right to raise the issue of punishing officials who do not provide for the organization of work for the prevention infringements and corruption.
