You're reading: Ukrzaliznytsia head: I don’t leave Ukraine, ready to cooperate with investigators

Temporarily discharged Ukrzaliznytsia Director General Borys Ostapiuk is staying in Ukraine and he is ready to help the conducting of investigation into the case on Ukrzaliznytsia.

“I’m ready to help the conducting of the investigation and punish guilty persons. I don’t plant to leave my homeland,” the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia has reported, citing Ostapiuk.

Earlier Head of Ukrzaliznychpostach Oleksandr Lozinsky denied his alleged escape abroad.

“Last week I was on vacation and I left for Vienna at 7:00 a.m. on the day when the search was conducted. I have not received any notifications on the search. I learnt about this from a person who officially rents my apartment,” he said at a briefing on Oct. 21.

Lozinsky said that top managers of Ukrzaliznychpostach are ready to help law-enforcement agencies.
