Two unidentified people tried to set fire to the building of the prosecutor's office in the town of Apostolovo in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine in the early hours of Wednesday.

The attackers broke a window of the district prosecutor’s office
building and threw a bottle containing a flammable substance into it at
about 3 am on Wednesday, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry’s department
for the Dnipropetrovsk region reported.

An examination at the scene revealed that one of the two attackers
broke the window of a room containing an archive with a brick and the
other poured an unidentified flammable fluid inside the room and onto
the windowsill. Then they set fire to the fluid and fled.

“A five-liter plastic bottle containing about 3.5 liters of flammable fluid was found at the scene,” it said.

The flames damaged the windowsill, a plastic dropped ceiling, and a wooden bookcase containing archive documents.
