U.S. Ambassador in Kyiv Geoffrey Pyatt has spoken about the importance of the U.S. Department of Energy cooperating with Ukraine in the preparations for the winter heating season.
“U.S. Department of @ENERGY is working closely with Ukraine to prepare for winter and to prepare to respond to any possible challenges,” the ambassador said on Twitter on Sept. 14.
Pyatt said that today’s winter energy planning exercise at Ukrenergo with the participation of Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk is “a key step to passing the heating season successfully.”
