The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration has extended its ban on flights to Simferopol and Dnipropetrovsk for all U.S. airlines until Oct. 27, 2016, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has said in a report.

According to the report, the bans were imposed in April 2014 due to the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine, which posed a danger to civil aviation flights, as well as the ongoing political and military tension between Ukraine and Russia, and as tension remains high, the ban has been extended.
