The United States government is not planning to introduce sanctions against Ukraine, U.S. Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman has said on Channel 5.
“We will not use them so far, we believe in direct relations,” she said.
The official added that the U.S. intends to discuss with Ukraine reforms it has to implement.
Sherman also stressed that Ukraine should focus on its judicial sphere, as well as eliminate selective justice and reform the public prosecution system.
