US providing Ukraine with guarantees on $1 billion loans

A preliminary agreement on the US' providing guarantees on $1 billion loans was achieved in late February-early March this year after the new government came to power in Kyiv

 The governments of Ukraine and the United States on April 14 signed an agreement on guarantees of borrowings amounting to $1 billion attracted by Ukraine, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk has said at a meeting of the parliamentary constitutional committee in Kyiv. "The agreement between the government of Ukraine and that of the United States on the issuance of $1 billion aid was signed in Washington today," said the head of the Ukrainian government.
